During one of our sick-house weekends I had been reading and resting a lot. During one of my breaks James took my spot...and my kindle.
You know how when your two year old is quiet for too long you get nervous...this time it turned out okay. I caught him looking at my old scrapbook, priceless.
Things of note lately:
He likes to mimic noises of all kinds. He sings along with songs, quotes movies while he's watching them, and makes the sound along with Skype when I sign in.
He likes to chase rabits in the yard, but doesn't understand that there are not always rabits to chase.
When asked where something is he points to it and says "Ah-hah!"
He's fascinated with bugs (which is a good thing considering the abundance of them here.)
He still loves all things Star Wars. The latest thing is using the force on us. He says "force on mommy!" and I'm then expected to react somehow (the reaction is by no means spectacular, it's like "ah! you got me" with hands thrown up in the air). But if I use the force on him he'll do all kinds of things, it's a fun game!
His two favorite primary songs are I am a Child of God, and Follow the Prophet.
If we go outside he's not satisfied if he can't say "Hi" to the neighbors, or at least their dogs. Of course saying hi is better if it means he can go over and play.
