On the move...again

We've sure enjoyed our stay in Minnesota but the time has come to move on, and where would we be going you might ask?
Why, to OKLAHOMA of all places!

We were surprised to say the least. Of all the places we thought were possibilities this was not anywhere on the list. Nonetheless, we are excited for some of the things this move will bring.
Most of all, we're excited to move into a HOUSE!
(Just renting, but still, it's a huge improvement from apartment life).
We just found out yesterday that our application was approved on this little beauty.
We are so excited to have a garage and a yard! And although the colors aren't what I would have chosen myself, it's just the perfect little house for us in so many ways I decided to overlook that ;).
Here's a peek inside:
I love the fireplace and mantle. There are two skylights in the front room that make it so bright and airy. Plus the front window will work for the curtains I made here, how often does that happen?
(I had just changed James diaper on the floor, I guess we were marking our territory.)
The biggest selling points for me: counter space, window, appliances, deep sink, white cupboards, tile back splash...what's not to like?
This isn't a very good shot but it's the dining room looking out to the back yard. I mostly love that the dining room is NOT CARPET! Now if James dumps his red sauce or pureed carrots on the floor I can just wipe it up and not stress over the stain (we've left our fair share here I can tell you that). And look, NO VERTICAL BLINDS!
The bedrooms aren't huge, but there are three which is more than enough for us. This is the master, with another skylight (I'm so in love). This room has a 3/4 bath and in the hallway is a full bath. Plus, all the rooms have ceiling fans (hallelujah!)
Now all we've gotta do is move 875 miles across three states...I'll let you know how that goes later.
