Baked Salmon: Lay out fillets on a good sized sheet of tin foil, place thin slices of butter over top, season with a little Mrs. Dash original and Salt. Place another sheet of tin foil over the top and fold up the edges a couple of times to create and envelope with the fish inside (I hope that makes sense). Place in whatever pan it fits in (I used a 9x13 pan) and bake in the oven at 350F for about 25-30 minutes (mine was frozen, reduce that if your's isn't).
Baked Potaotes: I'm not an expert when it comes to these, if not for the microwave mine would have been less than half cooked. So, call someone else or use your own expertise on this one.
Dilled Carrots: I used a 1 lb bag of baby carrots, put them in a pot with water just covering and boiled the heck out of em (they always take bout 10 minutes longer to get soft than I expect, just a heads up.) I added a little brown sugar to the water, maybe a couple tablespoons just to make them a little sweeter. When they are soft to your liking, drain and add 1 tablespoon of butter, some salt and a healthy sprinkle of dill. Dill goes great on carrots, and it makes them look really pretty.
Green Salad: The salad was super easy, just some green leaf lettuce, half an avocado-sliced, a medium tomato, some almonds and craisins. This goes best I think with an Italian type dressing (I like that with everything though).
Dessert: I whipped up a little home-made hot chocolate just for kicks and sliced up a pineapple.
I also love to play up the presentation of my creations, it's fun to pull out the nice serving dishes and candles just because. Dan was so impressed he took pictures. Silly boy.
