This year we decided to try raised box gardening. It has been a fun experience so far (mostly because the size is more manageable than our last attempt and it's right in our own back yard!)
We built (or rather I should say Dan built) our own boxes and filled them with about 60 bags of topsoil.
And about two months later this is what we've got:
